PDExpress® and Teacher Evaluations

We are pleased to announce the availability of a teacher evaluation component that is integrated with PDExpress and does not require addtional fees. The evaluation component is completely open and allows you to create and publish evaluation forms based on any model. You can also create classroom observation forms and any additional forms required by your evaluation process.

With PDExpress you are able to:

  • Create custom evaluation and observation forms.
  • Use the evaluation model of your choice.
  • Create custom performance levels and rubrics.
  • Automatically route submitted evaluations for review.
  • Automatically notify recipients via email that they have evaluations to review.
  • Attach documentation to evaluations and observations.
  • Assign multiple evaluators to an evaluation form.
  • Create individual growth plans and goals as a result of performance evaluations.
  • Automatically link goals to professional development activities and courses.

PDExpress® Report Designer

Lucid is pleased to announce the availability of an integrated report designer that makes it easy to create custom reports. The report designer is integrated with the PDExpress Query Tool and offers the perfect balance between ease of use and functionality. The report designer enables PDExpress users to:

  • Create custom reports with the designer wizard
  • Create simple reports by dragging and dropping fields into the designer
  • Filter, sort and group report data
  • Create labels (mailing, nametag, etc.)
  • Save and run reports from the PDExpress Report Tool
  • Create tables
  • Insert images and shapes
  • Create custom field calculations

PDExpress 2013 in Development

PDExpress 2013 is in development and will be the most exciting, feature rich version of PDExpress we have ever delivered!

PDExpress 2013 will feature a new design that makes it possible to do more with less effort.  For example, the new Manage > Staff page will enable you to view and update all related information about a staff member’s in and out-of-district activities, credentials, documents, plans, etc.  It will make it even easier to search, sort, filter and export information from virtually any page.

PDExpress 2013 will also include an expanded eMail feature enabling you to compose HTML-rich messages, save templates for later use, attach documents and incorporate variables that are mailmerged at the time a message is sent.

We’ve posted a brief preview video in the Support Center under Tutorials > PDExpress 2013.

While PDExpress 2013 will have a new look, our goal was to retain the familiar navigation menus so teachers and administrators will be comfortable getting around. The new version is scheduled for release in September, 2012 and will be available to all current customers at no charge.
